Our founder’s son, Austin, was born in 2007 just hours after serving our first guests on opening night of our first restaurant, Hill Country Barbecue Market. Born to Texas-Jewish heritage on one side and New York-Italian heritage on the other, he is affectionately called “Austino” by his maternal grandfather. One of Austin’s favorite foods also happens to be pizza.
Offering a signature Hill Country twist on pizza, Austino’s blends influences of Italy and Texas into its pies. Our pizzas are made with homemade dough that is hand tossed NYC-style with a sweet and tangy house red tomato sauce. Austino’s pizzas are served as oversized Texas Slices and whole pies with a variety of innovative flavor combinations featuring toppings from our barbecue smokers.
